We help businesses understand what works in search

Building visibility takes time, consistency, and someone who's seen what happens when you try different approaches. We've spent years working with local businesses to develop SEO strategies that actually fit how they operate.

SEO strategy development workspace

Started from a simple observation

Back in 2025, I kept seeing the same pattern. Business owners would invest in SEO services, get a report full of technical terms, then struggle to figure out what any of it meant for their specific situation. The gap between knowing SEO matters and actually implementing something useful was massive.

I'd been doing this work for years by that point, helping different types of businesses rank for terms that brought actual enquiries. What became clear was that most people didn't need another audit or keyword list. They needed someone to sit with them regularly, explain what the data meant for their business, and help them build habits that would compound over time.

Who you'll be working with

We're not a big team. Just two of us who've been doing this long enough to know what makes a difference and what's just noise.

Strategy Development

I started doing SEO when local search meant something completely different. Spent a decade watching algorithm changes, testing approaches, and figuring out what actually moves rankings for businesses that serve a specific area. Now I help people build strategies that match how they work.

Technical Implementation

My background is in web development, which means I can look at a site and quickly spot the technical issues that slow down rankings. I handle the implementation side, making sure the strategy we develop actually gets executed properly without breaking anything.

How we approach this work

The process is straightforward because we've refined it over years of doing this

01

Initial review of where you are

We look at your current site, your market, and what competitors are doing. This isn't a massive audit document. It's a conversation about what's working, what isn't, and where the realistic opportunities are for your specific situation.

02

Building your approach

Based on what we found, we develop a strategy that fits how you operate. If you can only commit two hours a week, we build around that. If you have budget for content, we incorporate it. The plan needs to match reality or it won't happen.

03

Regular guidance sessions

We meet fortnightly to review what's happening with your rankings and traffic. These sessions cover what to prioritize next, how to handle technical issues that come up, and adjustments based on what the data shows. You're not implementing blind.

04

Continuous adjustment

SEO changes constantly, and your business does too. We stay involved long-term, helping you adapt your approach as search behavior shifts, competitors change tactics, or your offerings evolve. This isn't a three-month project.

Why this matters for local businesses

When someone searches for a service in Hull, the businesses that show up aren't necessarily the biggest or the ones spending the most on ads. They're the ones that understand how local search works and have built their online presence systematically over time.

That takes consistency. Regular content that answers actual questions. Technical setup that Google can read properly. Citations and links from places that matter in your area. Most importantly, it takes someone who can explain what to focus on when you have limited time and budget.

What you'll develop over time

The goal isn't just rankings. It's understanding how this works so you can make informed decisions.

Technical knowledge

You'll learn how to spot issues with site speed, mobile usability, and crawl errors. Not just identifying them, but understanding why they matter for your specific type of business.

Content strategy

We'll develop your ability to create content that ranks. This means understanding search intent, structuring pages properly, and writing in a way that works for both readers and search engines.

Data interpretation

You'll get comfortable reading Analytics and Search Console data to see what's actually happening. Traffic patterns, conversion paths, and which keywords bring enquiries versus just visits.
